Happy New Year
First things first: Happy New Year!
I hope everyone out there had a really nice New Year's Eve and that your worst day in 2020 is comparable to your best day in 2019. :)
My evening was sedate. Had supper, watched some t.v. with J, then cracked the champagne open at midnight. We didn't even finish the bottle. I wound up pouring most of it down the toilet, after J went to bed.
I don't do resolutions. Instead, I make a list of things that I want to get done. Like buy new pillows for the bed (mine are flat as a pancake), and clean out the back of the car (I've got way too much crap in the back seat).
Today, I woke up super-late. 230 in the afternoon. Oy vey. Watched the latest Doctor Who (which was surprisingly good compared to last year's), then did laundry and had supper.
I ate:
2 packets of white rice
1 can of black-eyed peas.
I've got some other stuff upstairs that I may dive into later, but I'm feeling quite full right now.
Actually, I've got a bit of energy and think I might pull on my coat and go for an evening walk.

UPDATE:
I had a lot of energy to burn today so I went for a walk. Then I came home and ate:
1 Package of Fig Newtons
1 Small Tin of Pineapple
A bunch of Mandarin Cuties.
So, healthy, but sort of calorie intense.
