Wizard of the Coast/Hasbro Meltdown

So, earlier this month WoTC's proposed new Open Gaming Licence was leaked and it sent the D&D community into a sharp hatespiral. Basically, the proposed new OGL fucks with anyone creating D&D content for a profit. There are a ton of videos on YouTube from creators explaining why it sucks so much better than I, but, yes, it does suck. If this new OGL goes through, we'll pretty much see the end of third party content creators like Kobold Press or Paizo. I quite like Kobold Press. They put out better quality stuff than WoTC. Hell, most third party content creators put out better stuff than WoTC!
I'm wondering if we're going to see the popular streamers, like Critical Role or Dimension 20, publicly react to this situation? Or will they sit on their hands and wait to see how it all shakes out?
It would be interesting if some of the big content creators/streams walked away from D&D and started highlighting other games and game systems like Numenora or Scarlet Citadels. I'd be shocked if that happened, but it would be a nice surprise.
Personally, I'm skeptical about this 'leak.' I'm thinking it's deliberate, to test fan reaction, and if it's super-negative, to dial back the harsher language of the new OGL. Yes, I'm that old and jaded.
