Shade
Today, I made a couple of sunshades for the little port windows in my car. I guess I'm doing this in preparation, in case I can't find a roommate situation in May and do have to live in my car.
I've watched lots of YouTube videos of how people made theirs and decided to go with Reflectix on black posterboard, with black cloth on the outside-facing side. It took me a couple of tries, but I finally got it done. It was harder than I thought it would be and the final product, on the inside part, isn't exactly pretty, but I'm thinking they'll get the job done. Now I just need to make some for the front and rear windows and hope I can find a sunshade that will actually fit my hatchback. All the ones I've seen in the stores are too big. If I can't find a sunshade, I might be able to rig up a curtain or something using bunjee chords to block the front of the car from the back.
Or, I might just be in an apartment in a month.
But at least I feel like I'm doing something.
I'm not in goddamn limbo.
