Sick Day
No calorie counting today on account of sickness.
Last night, I spent some time with my friend, Sasha, and his family. They were returning from DisneyWorld to D.C. The kids had sniffly noses but I didn't think anything about it. A nice time was had.
Then I woke up this morning and thought I was gonna die. I had a ridiculously high fever and the world was spinning. I did not go to work. Instead, I stayed home and napped on the bathroom floor, to be closer to the toilet.
Eventually, I crawled back into my bed and fell into a deep and dreamless sleep. I woke up around three this afternoon, feeling much better. I had a brief foray to the corner store, in my pyjamas, where I got some crackers, some Gatorade and some Sprite.
Came home and washed my sheets, which were swampy and gross. Finished reading, "With A Single Spell" and am about to start on another book. I do NOT feel up to watching Netflix or YouTube.
And that has been my Friday. :/
