The comic shop that I work at won a local best of award this week.
Jorg was all about winning, because he needs/wants the recognition.
Personally? I don't care if people think we're the best or not. I want people to have a nice experience and give us their money.
In other news, I'm going to crawl back onto the anti-kidney stone diet bandwagan today. This month I've been failing terribly at hewing to the guidelines (restricting salt, excess sugar and watching oxalates), and I've been feeling badly about that, so here we go again.
I may actually start posting YouTube videos again, to help hold myself accountable.
I should also call the doctor and make an appointment re the dull ache I've been experiencing on the left side of my abdomen. I've had it, off and on, since they removed the second stint during my kidney stone procedure. I've also got some other aches and pains around my stomach that I should talk to him about, even though I know what'll happen. He'll recommend a couple of probable causes, tell me to keep an eye on things and come back if they get worse.
I think I need to find another doctor.
Sometimes, I think I need to find another life.
