The Liam Solo

So, Liam finally arrived in Mistgate. Hurrah! Now that he's passed through the city's blessed gates, it'll be much harder for anyone to track him magically.
He's also learned that his brothers are dead, murdered, and that his parents are looking for him. Liam quickly realizes that none of his blood-kin probably want him alive at this point, because of his homeland's inheritance laws.
He gets very drunk.
The next day he visits Bel Ryda, the lutheir he met outside the city when he first arrived. While at Ryda's, Liam meets Nodal Orla, a respected sage.
Later, Liam is invited to lunch by the sage where he is introduced to Lord Steffan Kennok, Baron of Ravenshadow. It turns out his meeting with Orla wasn't entirely chance; the sage consulted an oracle to find the person who could ensure his next expedition succeeded. That person is Liam.
So, basically, Liam is convinced to join this expedition, which is looking for an ancient cursed Ring.

Yeah. So, basically, Liam is now hunting for the One Ring and going to be doing it near a battle zone.
Oy vey.
