I got up this morning feeling full and satiated. Got dressed and went out to run some errands. Took Jorg some coffee and pastry at the Store, then went computer shopping.
I really wish that I hadn't. Between it being September, and everyone buying computers for school, and the chip shortage, there wasn't a lot of selection left on the shelves. So it looks like I shan't be replacing the Problem Child until later.
I came home, stopping at the grocery store to grab some dinner. I was really jonesing for vegetarian eggrolls, but the market didn't have any. So I grabbed some basmati rice, some stir-fry vegetables, a can of water-packed no-sugar added fruit cocktail, a protein drink and a Bhuja cracker mix.
I've never had the Bhuja stuff before, but it's quite good. If it were cheaper, I'd probably get it more often.
I did this same Reducetarian thing last year, around February, and had a lot more trouble with it. But this year, things have been going along just fine.
I think it may be because I've adopted a more relaxed attitude toward my diet. I'm mindful of my calories, but I'm not obsessed with them any more.
So, so far, so good.
