I slept with the fan on last night, to lull me to sleep, but it didn't prevent me from being woken by Jorg leaving the house at god-awful-o-clock this morning. And once awake, I could not get back to sleep.
So, I got up and showered and headed out. Wednesday's are the days I drive out to my friend, Paul's, home and help him run errands. It was a lovely day, but it took longer than usual to get there, because of road construction.
Also, at one point, some yahoo in a car ahead of me, decided to pause while a light was green to give a homeless dude some money. The car directly behind him did not approve and just sat on their horn until said yahoo drove on.
It was a typical day with Paul. Our friend, Gina, called, but she wasn't able to join us because of work committments. She's here, stateside, for three more weeks then she goes back to Italy.
The wedding plans are proceeding apace. Chairs are being delivered tomorrow, and I've agreed to stay at the house until they get here. Hopefully sooner than later as I want to grab some candles from the magic shop.
Other than that, life goes on. I went by the library the other day and got a couple of books, but I'm abandoning one and starting the other tonight. If that one doesn't pass muster, both are going back to the library. And, hopefully, I'll hear something from the water department soon. It's been a week since I spoke to them about the last payment not being credited.
