So, $730 later, my car has been fixed.
Or, at least, one thing has been fixed. I've still got to deal with brake drums and pins at some point. :/
Getting the car fixed was interesting. I got up at 630 this morning(!!!) and drove it to the garage. (Midas. It's not my favorite garage, but it's the closest.) They asked if I could leave it, and I could, so I walked home.
They called around 1030 to say they had identified the problem and then again at 230 to let me know the car was fixed. So, off again I went, walking the mile from my house to the garage.
I've probably been more active today than I've been in ages.
Around 830 my long day seemed to be catching up to me, but then I got a second wind, and I got hungry, so I went upstairs and had dinner. Two bowls of ramen, some sauasage and a big glass of passion fruit juice.
Jorg did come by tonight, to pick up some stuff and I said I'd come by the Store tomorrow if he wanted to go pick up Chloe. At first he was reluctant, but then he gave in, so I'm off to watch the store for an hour or so tomorrow.
And now I'm downstairs, listening to a YouTube channel, while I write all this up before going to bed. Or trying to.
