Finally, a post with words.
Here I am at the Job of Doom, wearing black khaki trousers and an oversized Polo shirt, in an effort to get used to dressing for days. I figure I might as well start now, rather than later. Plus, I have to get used to wearing dressy pants, instead of jeans. Honestly, the pants I'm wearing now feel like a cardboard box, gently cradling my ass whenever I sit. Honestly, it's a bit offputing.
I'm a bit scattered right now as I've been up since seven in the A.M. Had to get up so early to greet the plumber. Once again, Thank God, there was no porn cliche. Guy came, fixed the Dreadful Bath and left.
I'm not even going to mention the bill.
Let me just reiterate, dear readers, that I am in the wrong business. *shakes head*
After that, one thing led to another and I never made it back to bed. Had errands to run downtown and did so, then decided to come on in to the Job of Doom rather than return to the Fortress of Home.
Good thing too, as I need to touch base with Supervisor V regarding Coworker L. Coworker L is going to be the new graveyard person and she is shadowing me for training. She's very gung-ho and eager to work. I can't help but wonder how long that will last. Heh. Especially under my particular influence.
Anyway, that's where I am right now.
I hope I can make it through the evening without an involuntary nap.
More later. - MEL
