Holy crap.
I came into work today and got offered a possible new job on days.
It's not either of the jobs I thought I would get, but a new position that is going to become available this summer.
The current job holder is transferring to our facility in Prague, and the Higher Ups asked if I would be interested in this job. I immediately said yes which they were very pleased about, because it lets them kill two birds with one stone. And, better yet, the job has the potential for a pay increase! Yay!
On the downside it is a bit technical and, instead of canvassing the whole office for applicants they're kind of offering it to me, which might cause some bruised feelings. Still, it's good news and I am properly enthused.
I am currently working on a resume that we will need to submit to HQ, to show I'm qualified for it.
So, come this May, I will probably be getting some use out of my sunglasses and complaining in here about morning traffic and attending boring job-related meetings.
So, see? Something for everyone to look forward too!
