Well, the repair man has come and gone.
Thank God I called them when I did.
Turns out the bottom of my hot water heater is a rusted out mess. Eventually, the whole thing would have gone south and I might have had a major flood on my hands, instead of a slightly damp patch.
So, in short, I'm getting a new hot water heater.
They'll be bringing it by this Monday afternoon, so I called into work today and told them I'd be taking Monday night off. Tha way they've got plenty of time to find someone to cover my shift, although, really Coworker Pam could do the job on her own.
*shrug*
Until I get the replacement, though, I'll be taking cold showers.
Like I need those.
