I went to Ye Old Comic Shop this afternoon and unloaded a bunch of trades. They offered me $120 in credit or $60 in cash.
I took the cash.
I feel a bit bad about selling some of the trades. I loved Castle Waiting and really enjoyed the Morrison Doom Patrol collections, as well as Empowered.
But, the gods' honest truth is that I haven't really read any of my trades in ages.
So, in an effort to declutter my life, I decided to get rid of them.
I'm glad the comic shop took 'em.
It's nice to think that the books'll get recycled into the hands of other people who love 'em.
Now, I've got to tackle the stack of RPG books in the back of the closet.
Anyone out there want to buy a slightly used copy of Ptolus?
