Got a call the other day that it looks like the file scanning job has fallen through. Administrative differences between my temp agency and the contractor regarding who handles payment.
Um. Hello? Your contracting with a temp agency, morons. The agency handles the payments.
Some people.
But, in other news, I may have something else lined up. It's a temporary technical position with one of the local cable companies. The Agency was going to e-mail them a copy of my resume and I may have to do an interview. Eh. No big. I'm great at interviews.
Still no love on the home-sale front, although a former coworker from the Job of Doom said he might be interested in buying the place as a real estate investment.
I'll try to update more frequently.
