Today, I had lunch with former coworker, Shirley. We met at this Mexican place in Midtown. I had soft chicken enchiladas with refried beans and red rice. The food was delicious, but it was way too early for me to be eating. Even now, hours later, I still feel stuffed.
It was a nice lunch, though. Got there around 11:30 and didn't get home until about 1:00 this afternoon.
When I did get home, I saw an ad for a receptionist job that sounded interesting so I called them up and made an appointment. It's a full-time job and, honestly, I don't think I'll get it, but it never hurts to keep your interview skills sharp. Right? And if I do get the job, well, that's just icing on the cake.
