I just finished taking the Jeopardy online contestant quizz. I think I did okay, although I'm pretty sure I flubbed the question on Romanian composers. But then, how often do you think about Romanian composers? I answered Tchaikovsky even thought I'm pretty sure he wasn't Romanian, but I think I should get some kind of credit just for attempting to spell the man's name. Maybe it was Debussy? Ah! This is going to bug me all night. And I'm pretty sure another answer was Studs Turkel, but my brain locked up and I wrote down 'Polk.'
And you want to know the worst thing about all this? You never know how well you did on the test. They never notify you whether you pass or fail! Aaaah!
Anyway, if I get on Jeopardy and win a million bucks, I won't forget to thank all the little people who helped me get there.
I'll thank them, they just won't get any of my money.
