Got up this morning and took another load of DVDs to Ye Used Book Store. Along the way, I stopped at my realtors and wrote a check for $200 so the buyer can get a copy of the condo association bible. Then, I headed home, stopped at the bank to deposit a couple of checks from previous DVD sales, and had lunch at Chilli's.
While I was having lunch my realtor called me and told me that a personal check wouldn't do for the bible, and that they needed a cashier's check. Realtor-dude wasn't pleased that the guy was asking for a cashier's check, but I was okay with it. The management company of the Condo of Doom is kind of dickish anyway, so something like that doesn't come as a big surprise.
Then, came home and made an appointment to get the furnace/water cooler inspected, cleaned, etc. in compliance with the home inspection results. I don't know if they'll be able to start work on the suction vent they asked for, but gave them the number for the management company. If they can that taken care if, it would be wizard!
Then all I'd have to worry about is dumping my furniture/crap that I'm not taking with me.
