This is progress...
May. 3rd, 2011 11:42 amThought I'd update here, to keep track of stuff I still need to do.
1) Finish throwing out shit.
2) Get the car serviced in preparation for the trip.
3) Arrange to have utilities canceled on the 16th.
4) Go by AAA and get tryptych done.
5) Buy more minutes for cellphone.
6) Drop off electronics with Mary.
7) Close local bank account.
On a related note, we got the sale certificate from the buyer. So, it's a lock. Yay! Now, if he would just stop trying to get me out early, but the 16th is the closing and that's when I'm out of here.
Although, that said, I've got the Salvation Army coming by this Monday to pick up furniture and stuff, and if I can get the majority of my crap thrown out before then, I may be able to close early. But I'm not making any promises.
Oh. And my laptop is definitely dying, so I'm going shopping for a new one this afternoon.
