100 degrees in the shade...

So, I went by New Comic Shop yesterday, Heroes & Dragons. It was really big when compared to Old Comic Shop, and has seperate sections for comics, game stuff, a gaming area and even a used book section. Compared to Old Comic Shop it was also spacious and bright. I didn't feel like I was in a porn shop, which is a plus.
It did take me a little while to find it, as the directions I got were crap. It would also help if they had a sign by the road, instead of just on their roof. How inconsiderate is that?
Still, it was a pleasure to finally arrive, because yesterday was hella hot. I mean 100+ degrees, people. The heat wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so damn muggy.
In other news, yesterday I also got my driver's license and car registration transferred from Alaska to South Carolina. I had to pay taxes on the car before I could get the registration handled and was pleasantly suprised to discover that they were only $60. Of course, now I have to memorize a whole new license plate, but, on the upside, I don't have to renew my license until 2021.
Yes, you read that right. How cool is that?
Also took care of some banking stuff, although I'm still looking for a bank that can convert my leftover Canadian cash into American.
Is it strange that I feel like I'm procrastinating, doing all this stuff? I've sold the Condo of Doom, I've moved cross country and now, I should either be writing again or looking for a job.
But I find myself with no inclination to do that. At all.
Perhaps I'm just meant to be a bum?
