One week in...

So, I've been back home for a week.
It still feels like it should be a lot longer.
I haven't really done that much, since getting home. Unpacked, dinked around in the car a little, checking out some of the old sites. Sadly, most haven't stood the test of time all that well.
Went to Columbia, found a New Comic Shop and a New Book Shop. And I think I may have found a barber. Only time will tell.
So far, Mom and I are getting along okay. We're both adjusting to living with someone again. I think the fact that she's still working half days has been a big help. That way, I get my quiet time. Lord knows what'll happen when she quits her job and we're both in this house all the time.
Speaking of which, I have checked out a couple of job sites. Tomorrow, I'm off to a temp agency in Orangeburg to speak with a recruiter. First, though, I'll have to go to the bank and deposit my escrow check, which came in the mail yesterday.
And I'm thinking of joining Facebook, just to do some networking. God knows I could stand to meet a few people, since I don't know anyone down here.

Yeah, so, I tried out Facebook today and, well, I've already deleted my account there.
I mean, what's the point? I just don't get it.
