Jul. 9th, 2012 08:28 pmSo, this weekend I did another free promo of the book at Amazon. Unable to use a lot of the referring sites I used during its debut, I didn't get a lot of attention. Still, for the bare bones promo work that I did do, I'm pretty satisfied with the results.
I'm almost at 10,000 words on the Sequel, which means I'm almost a quarter of the way through. (Hahaha! Remind me of this when I cross the 50,000 word mark. Okay?)
Went and saw part of 'To Rome with Love,' Woody Allen's latest. After about twenty minutes I got up, walked out and asked for my money back. It's good to be reminded that Woody Allen movies are still dull as dishwater. It's nice to know that some people are consistent.
In other news, I'm reading 'The Monster Blood Tattoo Trilogy' by D.M. Cornish. I picked up the first one, not realizing it was a young adult novel, but am glad I did. These are excellent books with engaging characters and a truly interesting setting. Not your usual cookie-cutter fantasy stuff, thank God.
Of course, now I'm spoiled.
What will I read next???
More later! - MEL
