A Fucking Rat
Feb. 28th, 2021 12:49 pmI got woke up last night at 3AM and discovered a rat in my bedroom closet. Little fucker escaped the closet and I hunted it around the room for 30 minutes before it vanished. I went upstairs and got the dog, but when we came back down the dog was utterly useless and there was no sign of the rat. I left the door open so I think the damn rat escaped my room (which I'm fucking fine with).
I wasn't comfy sleeping in the bedroom after all of that, so I went upstairs and slept on the couch in the living room. Fitfully. When Jorg woke up, I told him the situation and he was very blase about it, saying that he would get some more traps and put one in my closet.
I have a gig tonight, but when I come home, if I hear or see that damned rodent, I'm going to go and sleep in the back of my car. And maybe start looking for a new place to live!
