It was rainy and blah here today so the Store wasn't super-busy. Jorg is predicting the worst because our rate of infection has jumped from 2% to about 20% after a three week lull. We're back to wearing masks in the Store and requiring everyone who comes in to wear one as well.
People are so fed up with the pandemic and all the stuff you have to do to keep people safe. No one is going to shut back down, I don't think, and a lot of people are aschewing masks because they've got the vaccine. But just because you've got the vaccine doesn't mean you can't transfer the illness to someone else.
The numbers will probably get worse in a week when school starts. Everyone knows children are plague carriers and our idiot leaders have said schools can't require that masks me mandatory.
The hospitals are filling up again. I think if they showed pics of the folks in the ICUs, hooked up to respirators, just trying to breath, people would take this thing more seriously.
Anyway, Jorg is anticipating the worst while I'm just living in the moment.

This whole, high-fat limit feels weirdly decadent after two weeks of low-fat.
