I'm going to admit that I'm one of that crowd of people who are glad to see the Ponds leave Doctor Who.
Not because the performers were bad; they were very talented.
Not because there weren't some truly great episodes. The Girl Who Waited leaps to mind.
No, I'm glad to see the characters go because the show is called Doctor Who, not Pond Life. They were hogging the spotlight. Then, in the ep before last, we discover that they've been running around as the Doctor's companions for ten years? WTF?
Ugh.
Anyway, glad they're gone, and they got a damned good send-off. However, want to bet that they never show the Doctor sharing their fates with Rory's dad or Amy's parents?
That would be an episode that I would want to see.
The Doctor dealing with the fallout from his life.
Eh.
New television series has begun but if it's not available online, I'm probably not going to bother with it. Also, nothing is really leaping out at me as worth my time.
