So, I had a job interview via phone last Friday for a job in New Mexico. It was super-short, about twenty minutes, which had led me to conclude that they were just going through the motions.
So, with that in mind, it's full steam ahead on the townhouse update. The downstairs looks pretty much like crap but the upstairs is coming along quite nicely. I've got new carpet, new lights, new paint, new wallpaper. Tomorrow, I get my furniture. Yay! Soon, I shall be sleeping in a proper bed! I won't know how to act! LOL.
Today, in preparation for that momentous day, I went out and bought a mattress and some sheets.
Also, I am giving thought to getting a home equity lone/credit line to finish the place. At this point, I'm just looking at paint, carpet downstairs and furniture. Then, I rent out the extra bedroom and get the fuck on with my life. :D
So, that's my sordid little adventure.
