The other night I played D&D 5e Adventurers League. I've never played AL before. Some people like it, some people don't. Me? I'm . . . ambivalent. It was okay as something to do to get out of the house, but the game didn't feel organic. When I roleplay, I like to roleplay, to get into my character's head. That's not really something you can do with the AL stuff. Honestly? It was sort of a grind. I don't think I'll be back.
