Last night, as I was changing for bed, I realized I had a big hole in the seat of my shorts. It wasn't there when I put 'em on yesterday, but Lord knows how long it existed. Hopefully, it happened at home, otherwise everybody could check out my star-studded underwear. Not that I really care all that much, I just don't want people to think I'm some sort of homeless derelict.

Anywho, because of that, I went clothes shopping this morning. It was a surprisingly painless affair. I drove over to Rose's, which is like a discount clothing store, and got two pairs of shorts and a T-shirt for less than $17. And, amazingly enough, I found shorts in a size I can live with!

One of the reasons I'm slimming down is because of clothes. I can never find clothes that fit comfortably because I'm in that weird, shadow region between sizes. Shirts aren't so bad, but pants are a pain in the ass. Either the waist is too narrow or the legs are too long. And, yes, I'm aware I could get pants hemmed, but I'm not going to spend extra money to have it done.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get out of the Big & Tall Ghetto before too long. :)

UPDATE:

I'm having a super-light supper tonight because I'm going to the movies tonight and will probably get snacks at the theater. So, tonight I had:

1 Pack of Shredded Cabbage
1 Package of Chicken Broth
1 Package of Diced Ham
1 Can of Mixed Vegetables
1 Packet of Salted Peanuts

This is maybe 400 calories? Maybe? Anyway, a soda and popcorn at the movies has about 1200 calories. I try to keep my calories between 1500 abd 1900 a day.

UPDATE 2:

Went to the movies and saw 'Yesterday.' It was a so-so movie. Matinee worthy, not date night worthy.

Did not get popcorn at the movie. Instead, I went by McDonald's and got a burger and large fries, then a large soda at the theater. Then, on the way home, stopped off and got a 1 litre Coke.

Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I'm not looking forward to it, since I think I jumped the shark as far as calorie-counting goes.

Ah well. We shall have to see.
