First off, I have no idea how much I currently weigh as I have not had a chance to step on the scale today.
Also, I just had lunch so the weight wouldn't be accurate. So I'm using today as a chance to reset my schedule, diet, etc.

In other, non-weight related news, I am back at the Store. We were allowed to open today and business has been okay. I guess a lot of people are ready to get out and buy comics and toys to alleviate the boredom of staying at home all the freakin' time.

I made the mistake of going on the state Facebook page that handles emergency situations and starting reading comments re the reopening of nonessential businesses. It's amazing how insane people are being right now. The majority seem to fall into two camps: the ones that want everyone to stay home until the pandemic ends and the ones that want everything open.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I miss going out to restaurants and movies, but I understand why those businesses should probably remain closed. At least, until they can rework how they function during this whole situation. Same thing with barber shops and spas.

But other retail establishments? Yes, let them open, with certain guidelines. We're currently limiting the number of folks who can occupy the store at one time. Honestly, aside from our big sale days, we're a low traffic business. People trickle in over time and the trickle is fairly consistent, but if we got a big rush, we'd have to ask folks to wait outside until others left. I think people would be okay with that.

And, of course, if someone is ill or immunocompromised they should be more cautious.

Just my thoughts.

More later!
