...because I didn't get a chance to do a journal entry for it yesterday. And I'm trying to get back into the swing of journaling more frequently. And not just about my diet. Which, if I am being completely honest, is proving harder to get back on track with than I expected. Mainly due to the good intentions of friends, but also because of a matter of timing and just personal laziness.

Anyway, yesterday was fairly sedate at the Store after the frantic pace of Saturday. I opened up at noon, and we didn't get customers until about 130. People called quite a bit to see if we were open, because it was Easter Sunday and I guess a lot of stores are closed now on that day. Which just seems odd to me.

I mean, if you're open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day why not open on Easter? *Shrug*

Anyway, the day was fairly sedate and afterwards I drove out to my friend Paul's place for Game Night. We were supposed to start a D&D campaign, but Paul got bad news this past week and it knocked him for a loop. So, no D&D. Instead, we played Wizard, which is a bit like Spades, or Hearts, and a very cool wordgame called Codewords and Settlers of Catan.

It was a fun night, but it was tiring and I left around 11PM. I stopped off on the way home to grab a bite to eat from McDonalds, which was a mistake, then I came home and finished off a bottle of wine I had lying around and a bag of Cheese Puffs.

Easter was not a Free Day for me, because I forgot that yesterday was Easter, so I didn't do a great job of cleaving to my diet. I managed to go over my 3000 calorie limit, which is a shocking thing.

But it's the first day this week that I've had a Fail and I'm not going to let it set me back too much.

Hope all of you had a lovely Easter, if you celebrate it, or Ostarra or just a nice Sunday.
