I woke up this morning and did my laundry, then saw a text from Jorg asking if I would come into the store because he hadn't gotten any sleep last night and wanted to come home. So I went into the Store and finished out the day for him.
I didn't have a chance to get anything to eat until later and I was on the run after work, so I just grabbed some food from a drive-thru place.
Then I went out to my new friend, Annabelle's place, and hung out there for a while, drinking coffee and sitting on her little patio in my bare feet. We talked about some people we knew in common, who we'd dated and who we thought would be a fun date.
Then I came home and discovered Jorg sitting on the couch, beaming from ear to ear, still awake,amped up from his band practice and recent events and weirdly pleased for me to have a potential new friend. He's a nice guy, but sometimes he can be a little intrusive.
