Today was not a good day.
When I woke up this morning, the first thing I learned was that a friend of mine from my Anchorage days had passed away.
Then, when I went to work, I discovered I'd left my phone at home.
Then, the computer at work decided to go nuts for a while.
On top of that, I was working alone, because Jorg was going to do stuff around the house, which did not get dones because (A) his truck wouldn't start and (B) the lawnmower wouldn't start.
After work, I came by the house and picked up my phone then drove out to Paul's place for Game Night.
It was fairly sedate. We played Catan and Guillatine, then wrapped up at 10PM because John had work in the morning.
I'm thinking this is going to be my last Game Night for a while. I'm taking Paul grocery shopping this week and I'll let him know then. And I've decided that I'm going to be honest and tell him the reason why, if he asks, is because Game Night has started to feel more like an obligation than something I look forward to.
I have absolutely no idea how much I've eaten today and I don't really care.
