Cold this morning, as the heat didn't come on last night. Jorg thinks the pilot light on the furnace went out, so he's called the gas company to come relight it. Hopefully, they can come by this afternoon.
Yesterday was cold, wet and blustery. I went to the urologist for my six week appointment. According to him, my kidney looks fine.
He could not explain the discomfort I've been experiencing on my left flank. All in all, I was very disappointed with the entire experience and will say so on the next patient feedback form.
I did learn that I have some small stones in my right kidney, but nowhere near the size of the one that was in my left.
I go back in a year for a check-up. But, honestly, if I don't have any problems I'll probably blow off the appointment.
Today, I am being domestic. In addition to the usual chores, I'm going to be washing my sheets. And I should go up and wash the dishes in the sink, but, honestly, I just don't feel like being bothered with them. I'm not the one making the mess, why do I clean it up?
Also, the hospital has passed on my info to some other organization that has been texting and calling me, offering to see if I qualify for additional financial assistance. I'm a bit miffed at that.
I need to call them today and ask them to send me an itemized bill with the medical codes when they send me my revised bill.
Also, I'm doing a clear liquid diet for today and tomorrow to see if that will do anything to help the stomach discomfort.
