I have this recurring dream every once in a while, that I refer to as the Zombie Apocalypse Dream. In the dream, I'm driving home from work one night when I encounter zombies exiting a local cemetery. I immediately turn around and return to the Office of Doom and wait out the Zombie Apocalypse with a few coworkers, subsisting off the candy bars in the snack room.
Well, last night I had a new version of the Zombie Apocalypse Dream. This time, I was back in South Carolina, in Columbia. I'm in some shopping arcade or something when the zombies show up. Myself and a few other random dream-people take refuge on the roof of the building. After that, the dream gets a bit hinky. There's a zombie horde and something about houseboats on a river and I have a cool katana that I use to behead a zombie victim when they turn. Then the dream totally goes pear-shaped and jumps tracks, so I wake up and go, "What the fuck was that all about?" Literally. I'm staring at the ceiling of my bedroom trying to parse this dream and having no luck whatsoever.
Anyone out there want to take a stab at dream interpretation?
