Apparently, D&D Beyond's website has been crashing because of load problems, as people cancel their subscriptions in protest of WoTC's proposed new OGL.
WOTC was also supposed to post a video and do a live Twitchstream to discuss the new OGL, but both were delayed/cancelled.
And, finally, Kobold Press and MCDM have announced they will be creating their own game systems in the near future and that both will be 'open-license.'
I feel kind of sorry for whoever is trying to do PR damage control at WoTC because right now they are just wading through shit.
Also, a lot of YT creators who have supported the game for years are bailing on it, switching their focus to indie games.
It will be interesting to see how the big D&D streamers, like Critical Role and Dimension20, handle all of this. They'll probably keep quiet because they don't want to lose the sponsorship, and may be subject to NDAs as well, but it'll be interesting to see if any of them decide to jump ship too.
