So, I think I'm pretty much over the whole AI Art thing. It just takes far too much effort and time to coax a final product out of the thing that is even remotely close to what I actually want. Generic stuff? Fine.
More specific stuff? Nope. Takes too long and it's too frustrating.
I think that the last time I posted re this subject I equated it with pulling the lever on a slot machine. Well, as someone who used to go to the casino fairly frequently, let me tell you that there comes a point where you get slot machine arm, where you can't bear the presence of stale air or flashing lights or burbeling electronic noises. When all you really want is to get the hell outside, where the air is cool and fresh and you can hear yourself think.
That's where I am with AI Art.
It has lost its allure.
Now, maybe, I can get back to more productive pursuits, such as writing or soloing or reading.
I picked up a copy of Gregory Maguire's 'The Brides of Maracoor' last week and I'm barely halfway through it.
It's been a week since I rolled through a solo game session.
My brain is just fried with all the prompt nonsense and everything else.
So, enough with AI Art.
Time to get back to fucking life.
