So far, Hurricane Idareya has been a bit of a letdown.
By this time, I thought we'd have more rain at least. The wind's been come and go, but nothing approaching bad. Which I'm grateful for, but if I'd known it was going to be this 'meh' I would have gone out to Paul's place today, instead of pushing it back 'til tomorrow. Ah well. C'est la vie.
Went by Ye Olde Magick Shoppe today and picked up my soap. I have eczema and I have found that this goatmilk soap they sell is the best thing to keep it under control. At least for me. In addition to managing diet and stress. I have a single patch, on the back of my left hand, that never goes away. I find it's state a useful barometer for my overall skin health.
Popped into The Store and discovered that Jorg has got one of his gf's kids helping out, making bags and boards. This one, Chloe, seems quite nice. Not loud and abrassive like the other one I've met. And she's certainly more together than the last kid Jorg tried to help out; nice boy, but he had serious ADD and wasn't medicating. SMH. Yeah, he didn't last that long.
Had interesting convos with people in the Shop, gave Shadow lots of love, which includes filling his water bowl which was dry as a bone, and then came on home. I did drive by Ye Olde Game Shoppe, but decided not to bother going in as I doubt they have anything to interest me right now.
Went by Ye Olde Grocery Store on the way home and, on a whim, grabbed some meatyballs and some white chocolate. I am craving protein and sweet. Don't ask me why.
Then home, to kitties and more futzing about on the computer.
I wonder if the weather will actually get bad tonight? Or at all? The Full Blue Moon continues, and one of my witchy friends has a ritual in mind for the evening. Hope it works out for her, and that she doesn't get drenched, physically or metaphysically.
