Today, the Gods of Weather are apparently feuding. The weather is horrible; highs in the upper 30s, causing snow to melt, creating a sheath of ice over the ground. As if that weren't bad enough, the wind has decided to blow as if its March. On the way into work this afternoon, I thought my car was going to wind up in a ditch, things were so bad. I did pass a school bus that did meet that particular fate. It was being hauled out of a shallow ditch by a wrecker, because the wheels couldn't get any traction on the treacherous roadway. I'm not even going to mention the state of the various intersections I slid through.
But, at last, I got to work, safe and sound.
Now, all I have to do is get home again in one piece.
