So, Joss Whedon's Dollhouse has been officially canceled. Old news, I know, but I still think it's worth commenting on, if only because the show's premise could have been used so much better.
ABC's Eastwick has also been canceled. This is no big shock at all, as the characters were incredibly stupid and annoying. If this had been a horror show, we'd all be routing for the three women to die.
Rumors abound of a new Dark Shadows series being made and there's some talk that Ray Bradbury may be producing a new anthology fiction show. If so, I'll probably watch it.
Saw at the book store the other day that Stephen King has released a new book, Under the Dome. Although, to be honest, I think calling it a mere book is a disservice. Tome, I suspect, would be a better word. The thing looks bigger than the unabridged version of The Stand, which is saying something.
Apocalyptic movies are apparently the new thing. 2012 came out last week to good numbers, and The Road comes out this weekend. Personally, I'm tired of negative visions of the future. How about a big budget movie that shows everything working out?
And, finally, I'm doing some writing again. Picking up a project I put aside a while ago because I was burnt out. Once I'm finished with it, I may go back to working on that Star Trek fic I was writing. Maybe.
