Yesterday afternoon, I applied for a new position here at the Job of Doom.
Which entailed going to our online recruitment site, submitting a resume and, supposedly, printing out a special cover sheet to fax some supporting documents to Home Office.
Only, the website went kablooey as I was on the last page and didn't get a chance to print out said cover sheet. And, when I tried to get back to that particular page, to print out the cover sheet, I couldn't bloody well find the damn thing. It seems like the only way to get back to the particular page is to resubmit my application. Hopefully, that won't be necessary. I'm e-mailing the personnel office tonight asking if there's another way we can do this. Hopefully, they'll be able to point me in the right direction. I just hope I don't have to resubmit my resume. Doing it the first time was enough to make me want to punch my computer.
