One of the programs I enjoy listening to on BBC Internet Radio is this show called, Genius.
The premise is fairly simple. Listeners are invited to submit their ideas to the show, where a guest celebrity decides if they are genius or not. The ideas don't have to be practical or even feasible, they just have to be entertaining. One of the best was the idea of miniaturized elephants as pets. Seriously. That one came so far out of left field that it couldn't be anything but genius.
Which brings me to today's post.
I think scientists should come up with a pill that, when taken, gives you an orgasm. Because, let's face facts, there are some days when we could all use a good orgasm. When we're stressed or just feeling unhappy, you could pop a pill and feel better. At least for a while. Of course, their sale would have to be regulated, like cigarettes and whiskey, but I think they'd still go like hotcakes. Marketing them wouldn't be that hard and they could be sold to men as a sort of sleep assisting pill. And I'm sure the makers of tissues would appreciate the concurrent boost in sales.
So, what do you think, people? Genius or not? - xoxo MEL
