Have you ever written or thought of a bit of dialog for a piece of fiction that you just can't get out of your head? You have? Oh joy! I am not insane!
The following bit is from a fic I've been poking at in my head for a while. The two characters speaking are the Orphan and Wargod.
Scene: Somewhere in the North Atlantic. Heavy rains are falling and the sea is wracked by a storm of supernatural origin. Lightening flashes and we see Wargod, illuminated, standing on the upturned wreck of a ship.
Orphan: (via radio) Wargod, are you receiving?
Wargod: Can't talk now. Busy.
Orphan: (via radio) Wargod, are you there?
Scene: Suddenly, a huge body throws itself out of the churning sea, dwarfing Wargod.
Orphan: (via radio) Wargod....
Wargod: Goddamnit, Orphan! Will you shut the hell up already? I'm trying to fight a goddamn zombie-whale here!
You do not want to know about the scene with the fluke.
Honestly. - MEL
