I spent most of yesterday thinking about the job offer I got. And, I'll admit, I was leaning toward taking it, toward saying to hell with the Job of Doom and just doing something new.
Then I went home and sat down on my couch and started thinking. What if this doesn't work out? What if the gallery folds?
The Job of Doom may not be great, but I'm only ten years away from being able to retire. If I leave, I throw all that away for what could be an uncertain future.
I like certainty. I like a steady paycheck and medical insurance and a roof over my head.
So, today the pendulum has swung the other way.
Thinking about leaving the Job of Doom is tying my stomach up in knots.
At this point, I have no idea what I'm going to do.
