I sent in a fic to 365tomorrows.com yesterday, not expecting to hear from anyone for a few weeks. So imagine my surprise when I got an e-mail from the website today letting me know my fic had been accepted. Apparently, I jumped the queue. Hee!
Posted the King Cog fic over at the Atomic Thinktank and got a couple of quick replies. Those were positive, but I'm a bit disheartened that they didn't realize the fic was standalone. Eh.
Nothing on the job hunt today. Checked some websites. The only part-time gig being offered was at the Brookstone store, at the local airport.
Um.
No.
And - Isn't this interesting? - even though I left my job, it seems I may qualify for unemployment benefits after all. I think though, the catch is that to qualify you have to be searching for full time employment and, so far, I'm just looking for something part time. Still, I should probably follow up on that.
More later! - MEL
