Sold

So, I just signed the closing paperwork on the Condo of Doom.
It's done.
This Monday I will be officially rid of the place.
This is kind of a life milestone for me. Six years ago, I bought my first home, got the mortgage and the whole nine yards. Today, I sold that home. And, after this Sunday, I'll be out of it.
I don't quite know how to feel about all of this.

Empty & Nostalgic

The Condo of Doom is mostly empty now. Friend Mary came by this afternoon with her husband and pretty much cleaned me out. The only things I have left now, are what I'm taking with me to South Carolina and the stuff I'm throwing out. The place feels wierdly empty.
In other news, after Mary left, I went to a party for Friend Lucy at Chili's. Met a bunch of folks from the old Job of Doom and some new people who have joined since I left. It was nice to see folks again, but weird too, because after Monday I won't see any of these people ever again.
I'm starting to get a bit nostalgic.
Damn.
