Cause for celebration :)

So, I'm no longer a minimum wage worker.
Earlier this week I got a $0.75 raise, so now I'm making $8 an hour.
Hurrah!
I think that means I get to bring home about $12 more a week?
I'm not sure.
Math is not my strong point.
In other news, the 1% remains undone. Painter Dude was supposed to finish up this past Monday but he flaked on me and I haven't heard from him.
Still no work from Contractor Dudes re the parts needed to complete the bathroom fix and since everything else is dependent on that part, I'm still in limbo.
I'm saying this now: when the 1% is done I'm not going to do another damn thing with this place that I don't absolutely HAVE to do.
Oh! And on another unrelated note, I'm going to be publishing a fourth book next book. At the moment, I have a tentative title but that may change. It's basically a compilation of my fiction I've posted at the Other Blog and around the web. Also, some very questionable poetry.
And that's my little corner of the world.
