October/November has been a costly month. Had to get the locks rekeyed because Jeff didn't turn in his keys. Then had the upstairs carpets cleaned and the guest bathroom looked at by a plumber. Today, I heard from a painter who quoted me a price of $700 to paint the stairwell, landing and guest bedroom. That's . . . not a bad price. Later on this week, I have to pay my car insurance and I've got to figure out if I don't have to pay the Obamacrap penalty for not being able to afford insurance. Ugh. Stupid government assholes.
On the other hand, though, October was pretty good at the store. We did a lot of promo stuff and had a costume contest and it was a success. So, October was pretty good.
