Always bananas
Jun. 20th, 2019 12:35 pmI woke up this morning and wasn't hungry at all. As a matter of fact, I didn't eat anything until noon when I had a red plum and a banana. So, I didn't get hungry for about 16 hours. I'm currently lying in bed, sipping a Diet Coke and browsing Amazon. When I get done here, I'm going to peruse YouTube.
I think today is going to be a protein day. And, no, I'm not going to eat chicken or fish. I think I'm going to get some porkchops and maybe have it with some brown rice and applesauce. That sounds good, doesn't it? Well, we'll wait and see.
UPDATE:
I think we had a micro-tornado in my neighborhood this afternoon. When I came back from the grocery store, there were trees down along State Street and at the corner. I was genuinely relieved to see that the oak tree in the back yard was still intact.
We did lose power for a little while, but not for long. I had an early supper. I had:
1 Microwave Bag of Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice.
1 Bag of SE Grocers California Medley (steamable)
2 Porkchops, precooked but warmed up in butter on the stove top.
1 Banana
I mixed two tablespoons of Kikoman's Soy Sauce in with the brown rice and vegetables. They were really good. The porkchops were excellent too, but I think I should have salted them.
I had some fruit and yogurt prepared for desert, but took two bites and was like, "I don't want this. This is sort of disgusting." So I threw it out and ate a banana.
If I get hungry later on, I still have two more porkchops waiting upstairs in the fridge. Also, bananas. Always, bananas.
UPDATE 2:
Yeah, got hungry. I ate:
2 Porkchops
2 Bananas
3 Star Crunches
Ugh.
