So, today was my Free Day and also the start of a Free Week.
Yes, you read that correctly: for the next week, I will NOT be counting calories. However, I will still be practicing my intermittent fasting and I will try to eat mainly single-ingredient, underprocessed foods.
However, I am honest enough to admit that I'll probably binge a little too. I mean, what's the point of having a Free Week if you can't live a little?
Also, I'm thinking I'd like to take a road trip tomorrow and maybe Thursday? Just be back in time to go to work on Friday.
I don't know. I'm just thinking about it.
Also, if anyone was wondering, no, I still haven't gotten a proper phone. *sigh* At this point, I think I'll just buy a new tracfone and transfer my number and time to it. That's done easily enough.

It's been a while since I shared what I've been watching, so here's the breakdown:

Doom Patrol. I've watched the entirety of seasons 1 & 2 and enjoyed it quite a bit, despite the liberties they took with comic canon. Of all the DC Stream/HBO Max shows out, this one is the one I've enjoyed the most.

The New Adventures of Monkey. Ah. This show takes me back to the old Legends of Hercules/Xena, Warrior Princess days of yore. It is super-cheesy but lots of fun.

The Owl House. I watched the first ep of this a while back and got hooked right away. This is an animated show on Disney, with great voice actors, and a fun/interesting story. I'm not a plushy person, but I wouldn't say no if someone made one with voice responses when you cuddle it. Just saying.

The Umbrella Academy. The first season was excellent. The second is actually better and weirdly topical. I've particularly enjoyed the interactions between Five and the younger version of Sir Reginald. I'm not binging this show because I want to savor the goodness.

What We Do In the Shadows. One of the best comedies I've seen in ages. It actually makes me laugh, not just sigh despondantly (Star Trek: Lower Decks I am looking at YOU!), wondering what happened to humor. Great cast. Great writing.

Wizards: Tales of Arcadia. This is the final series/installment of the Tales of Arcadia series that began with Trollhunter and then continued with 3 Below. I'm only 2 eps in, but I'm enjoying it, mostly.

Weirdly, I spend more time watching YouTube videos and binging crap on Pluto TV than anything else these days. Go figure.
