The 4th of July 2021
Jul. 4th, 2021 11:37 pmSo, it's been two years since I started making changes to my diet/lifestyle and,I have to admit, that lately I feel as I've been slipping back into bad habbits.
Sometimes, I think it was a mistake to take March off. Other times, I wonder how badly I would have leapt off the rails if I hadn't.
Whatever would have happened (I hate playing What if? It's a pointless exercise.), these days I find myself drifting further and further afield from my stated intentions.
It's very frustrating.
Am I bored with my diet? No, not really.
Am I tired of counting calories? Kind of.
So, do I need to count calories? I don't know. I'd like to say no, but I'm not sure.
So, why am I backsliding? I think its just laziness on my part.
So, how do I stop doing it? If I knew that, I wouldn't be writing this freaking list of stupid questions, now would I?
And that's generally where I find myself as America turns 245 years old.
:(
