Water & Glass
Jun. 26th, 2021 09:59 pmToday has been a very mixed bag. The Store was okay. It was me and Trey, as Jorg went off to a toy show in Augusta at the last moment. Business was slow at first, but picked up quite nicely later in the day.
A friend of Jorg's brought in a diorama he had built of Wolverine floating in a luminescant tank. It was very cool.
Until Wolvie's tank leaked all over the glass countertop the diorama was sitting on. Thankfully, there was no major damage. A few TMNT figure boxes got wet, but I dried them off and stuck them in the sun for a couple of hours and they seem okay. Not perfect, but okay.
Then I came home and was playing with Shadowpup. I was bouncing the ball of the side of the house, when it hit the window and broke one of the glass panes. I spent the next hour taping the interior with packers tape, to create a temporary patch until the window can be fixed.
I texted Jorg, but he was about to go to bed, so I said I would call him tomorrow.
I really hope I don't ruin his day.
